An ultrasonic sensor, mounted beneath the tank, measures the liquid content level and transmits the information to the onboard telematics unit. If the level drops by at least 10 mm in 2 minutes, the sensor and the telematics unit trigger an SMS alert and, if required, activate the anti-theft siren (available as an option).
